What comes after death is a question which has always occupied the human mind. Will we simply stop existing or will we move to another level of existence, to be a part of universal mind or go to heaven or hell? Perhaps we will be reincarnated to live after life? Are we really alive at all? We´ll only know for sure when we die, and meanwhile there is plenty of scope for imagination and myth.

In ancient Egypt they believed that after death they would appear before a court, which would pass the final judgement after weighing their soul in the scale of balance.

The theme of this album is the imagined proceedings of that mythical court. Every song is the story of a soul recounting his past life to the Envoy of Death.
